Any dental appliance that is not cleaned properly can become a breeding ground for bacteria, plaque and other pathogens posing a serious risk to those wearing it, as well as looking cloudy and dull.
I have the Dental Pod Pro and I am loving it! My retainers are several years old, and it has cleaned them really well, better than I expected. I clean them once a day and they are so much cleaner than they've been in years!
Love the pod and the tablets. My friend gifted me the pod this last Xmas knowing I was beginning Invisalign treatment in February this year. I love it so much and immediately ordered six months worth of cleaning tablets from the Zima site. Even made myself a dedicated "Dental Station" in the bathroom.
My wife has a dental tray tha she cleans with a toothbrush. It was never clear, but certainly darker than it should have been. Unpacked it for 20 mins with one of the tablets that was included and then ran two cycles. Much cleaner after 2 cycles. This is an older tray so it’s not likek to get back to the original, but / cycles and it’s much improved.
I have a guard for snoring reduction. One cycle and there’s no lore build up and it “tastes” like it’s brand new.
The unit takes up no space at all. It’s great - definitely a worthwhile investment.
